The Just Right Carbines Takedown Gen3 is a semi-automatic 9mm Luger pistol-caliber carbine purpose-built around a one-piece 6061-T6 anodized aluminum receiver. Designed as a versatile, AR-friendly platform chambered for handgun ammunition, the Takedown model breaks down quickly into a compact package for transport and storage without the need for tools.

Up front, the 17-inch barrel is machined from 4140 chromoly steel with a protective parkerized finish and a 1:16 rate of twist, threaded 1/2x28 to accept standard 9mm muzzle devices or suppressors. The straight-blowback action cycles reliably with a wide range of 9mm ammunition, while the ambidextrous bolt configuration accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters. A mil-spec Picatinny rail across the top of the receiver accepts standard AR-style optics, red dots, and accessories.

Feeding from Glock-pattern magazines, the Takedown Gen3 ships with a 17-round magazine for a 17+1 capacity and shares controls, buttstocks, grips, and accessories with the AR-15 platform, making it easy to customize using parts you may already own. The 6-position adjustable stock allows the length of pull to be dialed in for different shooters or shooting situations.
