The JE Machine Tech PS-BTP2 is a recessed pistol buffer tube (receiver extension) purpose-built for AR-15 pistol platforms. Milled from 6061 Aluminum and finished in a durable Type II anodized black coating, this tube drops into any standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower to complete a pistol-length build.

Unlike JE Machine Tech's foam-capped PS-BTP tube, the PS-BTP2 uses a recessed tail-end design that allows the buffer and spring to sit fully inside the tube, giving pistol builders a clean, snag-free profile without the permanent foam plug. At just 3.8 oz, it adds minimal weight while maintaining the rigidity and concentricity needed for reliable cycling with standard pistol/carbine buffers and springs.

JE Machine Tech machines its buffer tubes from bar-stock aluminum on precision CNC mills, then applies a Type II anodized finish for corrosion and wear resistance.
