Both the front and rear units deploy via spring-loaded flip-up action, snapping upright with a positive detent and folding flat when stowed so they stay out of the way of any magnified optic or red dot mounted behind them.

Designed specifically as back-up iron sights (BUIS) for emergency situations, this set is constructed from high-quality polymer to keep weight at a minimum on flattop receivers.
