The Iver Johnson Eagle XL Ported is a long-slide 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in 45 ACP, built around a full-length 6" barrel paired with a ported slide and ported barrel to noticeably reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise during rapid fire.

This deluxe presentation variant of the Eagle XL carries a striking 24K gold plated finish across the hand-polished slide, frame, and small parts, contrasting with smooth black wood grips that frame the gold steel and give the pistol its distinctive dress-up appearance. The 6" barrel is cut from 4140 steel with six-groove rifling for the 45 ACP chambering.

Feeding an 8+1 capacity in the classic Government-size 1911 layout, the Eagle XL Ported delivers a substantial package with an overall length of approximately 10.45" and a weight of roughly 3.95 lbs unloaded.
