Iver Johnson Arms Eagle Gen2 LR Government 45 ACP 5" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Iver Johnson Eagle Gen2 LR Government is a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, built around a 5" crowned barrel and an 8+1 single-stack magazine. Part of Iver Johnson's refreshed Eagle Gen2 lineup, the LR Government configuration delivers a full-size Government-length slide and frame with traditional 1911 ergonomics and modern refinements.

Both the slide and frame are machined from steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant Black QPQ treatment for a low-glare, durable surface. The slide wears classic serrations for positive manipulation, while the frame incorporates an extended beavertail that works in concert with the beavertail grip and thumb safety to encourage a high, secure hold. Dymondwood grips engraved with the Iver Johnson logo lend the pistol a refined, traditional look without sacrificing control.

Sized as a true Government Model, the Eagle Gen2 LR offers the familiar balance, sight radius, and recoil characteristics that have defined the 1911 platform for over a century. This is new production from Iver Johnson Arms, ready for the range or defensive use right out of the box.
