The Iver Johnson Arms 600 is an over/under shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber and a 28" vent-rib barrel, giving it a familiar, well-balanced profile for the field or the clay course. The traditional over/under action breaks open for loading and unloading, and the lightweight steel receiver keeps carry comfortable during long days afield.

This 600 ships with a matte blonde wood stock and forend cut from Turkish walnut, finished in a soft matte that lets the grain show through without a high-gloss glare. A single trigger fires the lower barrel first and then the upper on the follow-up, and the gun ships with 5 internal threaded choke tubes - Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder - so the pattern can be tuned for upland birds, waterfowl, or sporting clays without buying extra tubes.

With a 2-round capacity (one shell in each barrel), a vent rib topped by a front bead sight, and the over/under break-action design, the 600 is set up as an affordable, all-purpose 12 Gauge shotgun for hunting and clay target shooting alike.
