The Iver Johnson Arms 1911A1 BOA is a Government-size 1911 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, dressed in the brand's signature BOA snakeskin hydrographic finish across both the steel frame and slide. Built on a classic Series 70 platform with no firing pin block, the pistol pairs a hand-fitted 5" black steel barrel with an 8+1 round single-stack magazine, keeping the proven 1911 handling and controls.

The slide is machined from bar stock with a serrated top end for easier press checks, while the cast steel frame is CNC-machined and then hand fitted, wearing an extended beavertail for a higher hand position and reduced slide bite. The full-size Government frame provides a substantial grip, dressed here with black Dymondwood snakeskin grip panels that echo the pattern on the metalwork for a unified, textured look. At an overall length of 8.5", the BOA delivers a familiar 1911 footprint that works equally well on the range and as a defensive sidearm.

This BOA variant ships with one magazine included, giving you a turnkey Government-pattern 1911 ready to run out of the box. As a current-production Iver Johnson Arms pistol, it combines traditional 1911 architecture with the distinctive snakeskin finish that defines the BOA series.
