The Inland Mfg ILM1911 1911 A1 Government is a traditional single-action .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol that revives the original U.S. military 1911A1 configuration with modern manufacturing. Built around a 5" barrel and a 7+1 magazine capacity, this full-size Government Model pairs classic 1911 ergonomics with the rugged black parkerized finish long associated with GI-issue pistols.

The pistol is built on a steel frame fitted with a serrated steel slide, a beavertail grip area, and a manual thumb safety for positive, instinctive control. Wood grips deliver the traditional look and feel of a period-correct 1911A1, while fixed iron sights keep the sight picture simple, durable, and snag-free for everyday carry or range use. The slide rides over a precision-machined steel frame designed for reliable feeding and lockup with standard .45 ACP duty ammunition.
