The Huxwrx 3098 Flash Hider-QD is a quick-detach muzzle device purpose-built for 6mm rifles with a 5/8x24 thread pitch. Designed to mitigate muzzle flash when shooting unsuppressed, it keeps the weapon's flash signature low so the shooter can stay on target and remain difficult to pinpoint in low-light conditions.

The Flash Hider-QD 6 mates directly with Huxwrx's HX-QD series suppressors (6k, 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti) and FLOW series suppressors (6k and 762 Ti), providing a secure and repeatable quick-detach lockup. When paired with an HX-QD suppressor, the system holds tight through hard use and comes off cleanly when needed. It installs on any barrel with a standard 5/8x24 muzzle thread.

Built as a 6mm-rated flash hider with a total muzzle device length of 2.3 inches and adding 1.7 inches to the overall barrel length, this unit is finished in a low-reflectance black coating to match most factory and custom rifle builds. Whether used as a stand-alone flash hider or as the dedicated QD mount point for a Huxwrx suppressor, the 3098 delivers consistent indexing and reliable performance.
