Each cartridge is loaded with a 158 grain hard lead semi-wadcutter (SWC) bullet seated in a brass case, producing a standard-velocity 1175 fps and 484 ft lbs of muzzle energy that is well-matched to the single-action revolvers common in cowboy action competition.

Designed as a reduced-recoil, target-grade round, this load keeps felt recoil and muzzle blast manageable during long strings of fire, while the Keith-style semi-wadcutter profile punches clean, round holes in paper targets and feeds reliably through classic revolver cylinders.
