The Howard Leight Uvex Acadia shooting glasses are designed for low-light range work, with an amber tint that boosts contrast on shadows, mud, and tracer patterns without dimming the scene the way a darker lens would.
Built around a lightweight 3/4 wraparound polycarbonate frame in black, the Acadia extends coverage over the cheeks and temples to deflect brass, powder, and debris without weighing you down over long range sessions. The frame is shaped with sculpted temples and soft molded inserts for a secure, non-pinching fit, and a soft ribbed rubber nose piece keeps the glasses planted through recoil and sweat.
Lens performance is the headline: the anti-fog model uses Uvextreme Plus coating that delivers up to 10X longer fog-free vision and 2X better anti-scratch protection compared to standard anti-fog treatments, so the glasses stay clear from cold-morning walks to high-output carbine drills. The lens is independently rated ANSI Z87.1-2015 for impact protection and blocks 99.9% of UV for confident outdoor use.
Sold as a single 1 pair and finished with an integrated hinge for long-term durability, the Uvex Acadia makes a strong primary set of range glasses or a smart low-light complement to a clear-lens pair you already keep in your shooting kit.
