It carries a 22 dB Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) and uses directional stereo microphones that automatically amplify ambient sounds up to 4X while instantly clamping down on any noise that exceeds 82 dB, so range commands, conversation, and game movement stay audible without ever removing the muff.

Built around a sleek, extremely low-profile earcup design, the Impact Sport clears the stock of nearly every modern long gun and folds flat for easy packing. The headband is wrapped in genuine MultiCam patterned material for a clean, low-visibility look at the range or in the field, and the over-the-head band holds a secure fit during active use. An auxiliary input jack on the side accepts an external audio source so you can pipe in a scanner, phone, or MP3 player between strings of fire.

Power comes from two AAA batteries (included), delivering approximately 350 hours of typical run time, with a built-in 4-hour auto shutoff to preserve battery life if the muff is left switched on after a session.
