Howa M1500 Mini Action Hunter 6.5 Grendel 5+1 20" Bolt-Action Rifle

The Howa M1500 Mini Action Hunter in 6.5 Grendel is a compact bolt-action hunting rifle built around Howa's Mini Action platform, with a chamber and bolt that are roughly 12 percent shorter than a standard short action. The result is a trim, well-balanced rifle that handles naturally for offhand shooting and carries comfortably in the field.

The 20" barrel is built on a cold hammer forged steel core wrapped in carbon fiber and threaded at the muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle device. A 1:8" twist rate stabilizes the full range of 6.5 Grendel bullet weights, from light varmint loads to heavy hunting projectiles. The drilled and tapped steel receiver provides a solid mounting platform for optics, with overall length at 38.75" and a carry weight of roughly 6 to 6.99 lbs.

Controls include Howa's crisp two-stage match trigger and a three-position safety. The fixed synthetic stock wears a walnut (brown) finish and is shaped for a right-hand shooter, combining the look of walnut with the durability of a synthetic platform. Iron sights are not included; the rifle is sold without optics, allowing the buyer to mount their preferred scope on the factory-drilled receiver. Magazine capacity is 5+1.
