The Howa M1500 is a bolt-action centerfire hunting rifle manufactured in Japan by Howa. This configuration is chambered in 7mm PRC and pairs a 24" stainless steel threaded barrel with a black Hogue overmolded pillar-bedded synthetic stock. It ships with a detachable box magazine for an overall 5+1 capacity, with an overall length of 44.75" and a weight of 8.25 lb.

The 1:8" rate of twist is matched to the long, high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles the 7mm PRC was designed to push. The barrel is finished in stainless steel for corrosion resistance in wet or humid environments, and the threaded muzzle accepts a muzzle brake, compensator, or suppressor.
