The Howa 1500 Superlite Gen2 is a lightweight, purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Win. Built around a 20" black threaded barrel mated to a matte blue steel drilled and tapped receiver, this Superlite Gen2 is engineered as a backcountry hunting and general-purpose platform. The barreled action is fitted into the renowned HS Precision synthetic stock in a gray with black webbing finish, giving it a modern, field-ready look while keeping carry weight down.

At the heart of the rifle is Howa's proven M1500 bolt action with a crisp two-stage match trigger and a three-position safety for safe carry and easy unload. The 20" barrel features a 1:10" twist to stabilize a wide range of .308 bullet weights and is factory threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor or muzzle-device use. The steel receiver arrives drilled and tapped for optic mounting and ships with no iron sights installed so the shooter can mount optics directly.

The HS Precision stock uses a CNC-machined aluminum bedding block molded around the Howa barreled action for a precise, repeatable stock-to-action interface. Configured for right-hand shooters, the Superlite Gen2 measures 38.75" overall and weighs just 4.90 lbs, making it comfortable to pack on long hunts. Capacity is 3+1.
