The Hornady V-MAX bullet is Hornady's signature varmint and small-game projectile, built around a lead core wrapped in Hornady's AMP jacket for superior concentricity. This .22 caliber (0.224" diameter) bullet weighs 60 grains, producing a ballistic coefficient of .265 and a sectional density of .171.
