This 300 Savage offering is built around Hornady's proven Super Shock Tip (SST) bullet: a polymer-tipped 150 gr projectile that combines a high ballistic coefficient for flat trajectory with reliable, controlled expansion on impact.

Pushing the SST out of the muzzle at 2740 fps and generating 2500 ft lbs of energy, this load is purpose-built for hunting applications in the 300 Savage cartridge. Superformance ammunition is compatible with any firearm chambered in 300 Savage and is matched to a 24" test barrel. The polymer tip initiates expansion while the lead core and jacket deliver the penetration and weight retention hunters look for in the field.
