The Hornady SST (Super Shock Tip) is one of Hornady's most popular hunting projectiles, and this 7mm .284" 154 grain loading brings the SST's polymer-tip expansion technology to medium and large game. The streamlined Polymer Tip Boat Tail profile initiates rapid expansion on impact while producing flat trajectories and reduced wind drift downrange.

Each bullet is built around Hornady's traditional cup-and-core design with a tapered copper (gilding metal) jacket over a 3% antimony lead core. A cannelure provides a secure crimp point for handloaders, and the tapered jacket is engineered for reliable expansion across a wide velocity window. The result is a G1 ballistic coefficient of .525 and a sectional density of .273, well-suited to 7mm rifle hunting applications.

This box contains 100 new-production unprimed projectiles intended for handloading by qualified reloaders using current published load data. Case pack is 15 boxes per case.
