Hornady Rapid Safe 2700KP XL RFID Gun Vault Black Steel

The Hornady Rapid Safe 2700KP XL is a compact, heavy-duty handgun vault built for fast, authorized access. Its body is constructed from 14 gauge steel with a durable matte black finish, and the interior is lined with protective egg crate foam to cushion the firearm and accessories. The XL-size interior is large enough to accommodate a full-size 1911 pistol or a 4" revolver.

This safe has been tested and certified to the ASTM F2456 Youth Resistant Firearms Container standard, providing security against unauthorized access by children. Three entry methods give the user flexibility: tap the included RFID bracelet, card, or key fob on the reader for instant access, program and enter a 4 to 6 digit security code on the backlit keypad, or fall back on the included key override for traditional mechanical entry. The electronic lock and RFID reader run off the included wall power supply for always-on operation.

Low-profile exterior dimensions of 12.7" wide x 8.7" tall x 2.9" deep let the unit fit in a nightstand drawer or on a closet shelf without taking up valuable space. The package includes the Rapid Safe, wall power supply, RFID bracelet, RFID card, key fob, and override keys for a complete out-of-the-box setup.
