The Hornady Primer Pocket Reamer Kit is a purpose-built case-prep tool designed to quickly and cleanly remove the military crimp from primer pockets, allowing reloaders to bring military-surplus brass back into service. This kit is configured for large primer pockets and ships complete with both the reamer head and the Hornady universal handle, so everything needed to start prepping military brass is in the box.

The included universal handle is the same accessory used across Hornady's case-neck brushes and both large and small primer pocket reamers, so this kit drops seamlessly into an existing Hornady case-prep workflow. The reamer head cuts away the crimped ring left in military primer pockets - a critical step before new primers can be reliably seated.

Built for the reloading bench out of steel, the Hornady 041202 measures 1.00" x 1.95" x 4.85" and solves one of the most common case-prep chores for reloaders working with military brass. Made in the USA.
