The Hornady MonoFlex bullet is a monolithic, copper alloy projectile designed for lever-action rifle hunters pursuing medium to large game. Combining the technologies behind Hornady's GMX and FTX lines, the MonoFlex features a patented Flex Tip design that makes it safe to use in tubular magazines while still initiating reliable expansion at lower velocities. At 45 Cal (.458") diameter and 250 gr, it delivers deep penetration, rapid expansion, and high weight retention on big game.

Each box contains 50 MonoFlex projectiles, with 15 boxes per case. The copper alloy construction eliminates lead-core concerns and retains up to 95% of its weight on impact, while a ballistic coefficient of .175 and sectional density of .170 make these an excellent choice for reloading .45-70 Government and similar big-bore lever-action cartridges.
