Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case 7mm-08 Rem

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case is a precision reloading tool prepared specifically for the 7mm-08 Remington. Rather than a loaded round, this is a single prepared case that lets the handloader measure and establish the overall length (OAL) of a loaded cartridge using Hornady's Lock-N-Load Precision gauges.

The case-head is cut with a special fine thread so it screws into the Lock-N-Load OAL gauge, holding the case in a true chamber-like position while bullets are seated against the comparator. The neck is left .002" oversized so the same bullet profile you intend to load slips in and seats consistently, giving an accurate measurement of how a specific bullet will sit in your rifle's chamber.
