Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case 6.5 Creedmoor Brass

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case is a precision reloading accessory designed for use with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length (OAL) Gauge. Machined from a 6.5 Creedmoor brass case to strict SAAMI specifications here in the USA, this modified case lets handloaders measure bullet seating depth and length-to-lands with repeatable accuracy.

Unlike a standard loaded round, this case has been specially altered with a threaded case head and an oversized case mouth, allowing it to accept Hornady's interchangeable bullet inserts and lock into the OAL Gauge spindle. Once threaded in place, the handloader drops different bullet styles into the mouth to compare seating depths and find the optimal fit for a specific rifle chamber. Sold as a single modified brass case, it pairs directly with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Precision OAL Gauge and is chamber-specific to the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge.
