Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case 300 PRC Brass

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case in 300 PRC is a precision reloading tool designed to work with Hornady's Lock-N-Load Overall Length (O.A.L.) Gauge system. Manufactured to SAAMI specifications from brass, this specially prepared case lets reloaders dial in bullet seating depth by replicating a loaded round without the need for live ammunition.

Unlike standard brass, this modified case features a threaded case-head that accepts the interchangeable aluminum comparator inserts of the Lock-N-Load O.A.L. Gauge (sold separately). The neck is .002" oversized so the exact bullet you intend to load can be seated at your chosen depth, then measured with a comparator to match the rifle's freebore and magazine length. The result is accurate, repeatable handloads tailored to a specific rifle.

Chambered for the high-performance 300 PRC magnum cartridge, this modified case fits most popular rifle chambers and is compatible with bolt-action and single-shot firearms.
