The Hornady Lock-N-Load A Series Modified Case (MPN A338R) is a precision-prepared brass case for the 338 RCM (.338 Ruger Compact Magnum) chamber, built to work with Hornady's Lock-N-Load Precision Gauges for repeatable overall-length (OAL) setup during reloading.

Hornady's A Series Modified Cases are specially modified to work with Lock-N-Load Precision Gauges and replicate the chamber dimensions of the .338 RCM. Using a modified case in the gauge lets the reloader tune seating depth and verify overall length during load development, taking the guesswork out of handloading and delivering consistent, accurate results round after round.

This single modified case is finished in brass and is compatible with all Hornady Lock-N-Load Gauges.
