Hornady Lead #4 Buckshot is cold-swaged lead shot graded as #4 buck at a .240" diameter, a popular mid-weight buckshot size for hunting and defensive handloads. Each pellet is formed from a lead alloy hardened with antimony to resist deformation in the hull, through the bore, and downrange.

The cold-swaging process produces uniform, consistently sized pellets shell after shell, giving the handloader a clean, reliable payload for the pattern board.

Sold as a 5 lb box of raw lead shot, this product is intended for the reloading bench and is not a loaded shotshell. Pair it with your preferred wad, hull, shotshell primer, and smokeless powder to assemble a complete handload. Cases contain 6 boxes for high-volume reloaders.
