The Hornady Lead 00 Buckshot is a cold-swaged shot product intended for handloaders assembling their own 12 gauge shotgun shells. Each pellet is a true .330" diameter 00 buck projectile manufactured from a lead alloy hardened with antimony to prevent deformation during firing and maintain consistent flight downrange.

Hornady buckshot is produced to a strict roundness tolerance of +.001", well inside the industry standard of +.006", which allows more pellets to stack tightly in the shot column for denser, more uniform patterns on target. Each individual pellet weighs approximately 53.8 grains, and a single 5 lb box yields roughly 81 rounds of 2.75" 12 gauge shells when loaded at 8 pellets per shell.
