The Hornady InterLock SP is a classic jacketed soft point rifle bullet trusted by handloaders for generations of dependable hunting performance. Sized for the popular 6.5mm (.264) bore and weighing 129 grains, it gives reloaders a versatile combination of velocity, trajectory, and downrange energy for medium and big game hunting.

Hornady builds each InterLock SP around a one-piece lead core and copper jacket that are mechanically locked together by an internal InterLock ring, the original feature that gave this line its name and that prevents core/jacket separation on impact. The exposed soft tip delivers controlled expansion with reliable weight retention, while the spire point profile holds a high ballistic coefficient for flat-shooting accuracy. Strategic inner grooves help initiate expansion and relieve internal pressure for cleaner bullet deformation.
