The Hornady InterLock 8mm (.323) 170 gr Round Nose is a classic cup-and-core hunting projectile from Hornady's traditional InterLock bullet line, sized for the 8mm (.323") bore. Each bullet pairs a soft lead core wrapped in a copper jacket with an additional copper coating, built around the time-tested round-nose profile for medium to large game hunting.

The defining feature of the InterLock design is the raised InterLock ring at the base of the copper jacket. This ring is mechanically embedded into the lead core during manufacturing, locking the core and jacket together as one piece during expansion so the bullet retains mass and energy on impact for deep, dependable penetration on tough, heavy animals.

A traditional round-nose profile, .323" diameter, and 170 gr weight place this bullet at a sectional density of .233 and a G1 ballistic coefficient of .217.
