The Hornady InterLock is one of the most proven hunting bullet designs on the market, and this 7mm (.284) loading delivers a versatile 162 grain projectile for medium and large game. Each bullet is built around a lead core wrapped in a copper jacket, with Hornady's signature raised InterLock ring mechanically embedded into the core. That ring locks the jacket and core together as one piece so the bullet holds together on impact, retaining mass and driving deep penetration on game.

The Boat Tail Spire Point (BTSP) profile pairs a pointed spire tip with a tapered boat-tail base for a high ballistic coefficient of .514 and a sectional density of .287. The result is a flat-shooting bullet that resists wind drift at extended ranges and still initiates clean, controlled expansion on game. The spire tip drives reliable upset while the boat tail promotes in-flight stability and smooth feeding from a magazine.
