Each bullet pairs a tapered copper jacket with a lead core and features Hornady's signature raised InterLock ring mechanically embedded in the core, locking the jacket and core together as one assembly during expansion so the bullet retains mass and delivers deep, controlled penetration on medium to large game.

The aerodynamic secant ogive and tapered boat tail base deliver a high ballistic coefficient of .453 (G1) and a sectional density of .246, producing the flat trajectories and downrange accuracy reloaders expect from a premium hunting bullet.
