The Hornady InterLock is a classic .45 caliber rifle bullet built around Hornady's signature InterLock design, which features a raised ring inside the copper jacket that is mechanically embedded in the lead core during assembly. That internal lock keeps the core and jacket together on impact, driving consistent weight retention and hard-hitting terminal performance on game.

This 245 grain Spire Point projectile measures .452 inch in diameter and carries an exposed lead tip for controlled expansion across a wide velocity window. It is a proven hunting bullet for .450 Bushmaster rifles and other cartridges using .452" diameter bullets. The bullet is copper-jacketed over a lead core, includes a cannelure for a secure case mouth crimp, posts a ballistic coefficient of .165, and a sectional density of .171.
