The Hornady InterLock bullet is a time-tested lead-core, copper-jacketed projectile built around Hornady's signature InterLock ring - a raised shoulder inside the jacket that is embedded into the core during manufacturing, locking core and jacket together as a single unit so the bullet retains mass, weight, and energy through expansion on impact.
This particular offering is the 32 Caliber / .321 diameter bullet weighing 170 grains in a Flat Point profile. The flat point tip and exposed lead make it safe for tube-fed rifles, while still delivering the controlled, hard-hitting terminal performance the InterLock line is known for. A copper jacket wraps a lead core, and the bullet is finished with a cannelure for positive, consistent crimping during the reloading process.
On the ballistics side, this bullet carries a ballistic coefficient of .249 and a sectional density of .236, making it a solid choice for rifle hunters at traditional hunting ranges. Each box of 100 projectiles is packed in cases of 15 boxes (1,500 bullets per case), and these are new-production Hornady components ready for your reloading bench.
