The Hornady InterLock is a .308 diameter boat tail soft point rifle bullet designed for hunters pursuing medium to large game. The 150 grain projectile uses Hornady's signature InterLock design, where a raised ring is embedded inside the core to mechanically lock the jacket and lead core together during expansion, retaining mass and energy for deep, consistent terminal performance.

Built on a traditional cup-and-core construction with an exposed lead tip and a boat tail base, the bullet carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .349 and a sectional density of .226, numbers that translate to good downrange velocity retention and reliable penetration across the full range of North American big-game cartridges chambered in .308 caliber.
