Hornady FTX 30 Cal .308 160 gr Flex Tip eXpanding - 100/Box

The Hornady FTX is a 30 caliber (.308") rifle bullet built around Hornady's patented Flex Tip eXpanding technology, developed for the 308 Marlin Express hunting cartridge. The soft polymer tip compresses on impact and initiates immediate expansion across a wide range of velocities, giving handloaders a reliable hunting bullet for the Marlin Express and similar .30-caliber rifle applications.

At 160 grains, the FTX pairs a lead core with a copper jacket and a polymer Flex Tip, producing a balanced hunting bullet with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .395 and a sectional density of .241. A cannelure is present for consistent crimping and core retention during loading and expansion, and the bullet carries a published velocity range of 2000-2800 fps.

This product is sold as a 100-count box of reloading bullets, with 15 boxes per case (1,500 bullets per case). It is intended for handloaders assembling hunting rifle ammunition and is not loaded ammunition.
