The Hornady ELD-X Bullet Seating Stem is a precision-machined die accessory designed specifically for the 7mm (.284) family of ELD-X projectiles, covering both the 150 gr and 162 gr bullet weights in Hornady's popular ELD-X hunting line.

Engineered to mate with Hornady Custom Grade Dies, this seating stem is cut to match the exact profile of the 7mm ELD-X Spitzer Boat Tail (SBT) bullet, allowing the reloader to seat the projectile squarely on the case mouth without distorting the boat tail. The result is consistent overall cartridge length and uniform seating depth shot after shot - a critical detail for the precision hunting and long-range applications where the ELD-X is most often used.

This is a steel, single-purpose seater stem intended as a replacement or dedicated seating stem for a Hornady Custom Grade die set already on the reloading bench. It is not a complete die - pair it with your existing 7mm Custom Grade seating die body to load 7mm Remington Magnum or other 7mm cartridges through the Custom Grade die system. One stem per package.
