Hornady ELD-X 6mm .243 103 gr Rifle Reloading Bullets - 100/Box

The Hornady ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag eXpanding) is a technologically advanced, match-accurate, all-range hunting bullet built around Hornady's signature Heat Shield polymer tip. The Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic deformation in flight, preserving a high ballistic coefficient of .512 for flat trajectory and true match-grade accuracy downrange, then initiates controlled, reliable expansion on impact across the full velocity window.

Designed for the 6mm (.243) chambering, this 103 gr projectile pairs a copper-coated AMP jacket with a lead core, plus a thick shank and Hornady's InterLock ring to drive deep penetration and high weight retention on medium and large game. Sectional density comes in at .249, and Hornady recommends a minimum rifling twist of 1:8 for stable flight and consistent terminal performance.
