These 30 Caliber (.308") bullets use Hornady's signature Heat Shield polymer tip, a heat-resistant compound that holds its pointed shape through the aerodynamic heating of high-velocity flight so the projectile keeps the advertised ballistic coefficient of .573 (G1).

Each bullet is built around a lead core wrapped in a copper jacket and tipped with the streamlined polymer ballistic tip that defines the ELD-VT family.
