The Hornady ELD Match (Extremely Low Drag Match) is a high-ballistic-coefficient 6mm (.243) target bullet designed for precision rifle shooters chasing extreme accuracy at long range. This particular bullet weighs 108 grains and features Hornady's Heat Shield polymer tip, an AMP jacket, and a precision lead core built to extremely tight concentricity standards for consistent, predictable performance downrange.

The ELD Match's polymer tip is engineered to resist the aerodynamic heating that can deform a bullet's meplat in flight. By keeping the tip in its original shape all the way to the target, the bullet maintains its high ballistic coefficient of .536 (G1) across the velocity range. A boat-tail base delivers a sectional density of .261 with a recommended minimum 1:8" twist rate, making the 108-grain ELD Match ideal for F-Class, long-range prone, benchrest, and other precision target disciplines.

Built without a cannelure, the bullet has a smooth uniform profile from polymer tip to boat-tail base. The AMP jacket and copper coating deliver consistent weight and concentricity lot to lot, so handloaders can count on the same accuracy, BC, and stability from box to box.
