The Hornady ELD Match (Extremely Low Drag Match) is Hornady's flagship match-grade rifle bullet, designed for long-range precision and competitive shooting. This 6.5mm (.264") bullet is the heavyweight 147 grain ELD Match, commonly loaded for 6.5 Creedmoor and other 6.5mm long-range rifles.
At the front of the bullet sits Hornady's signature Heat Shield polymer tip. This tip resists aerodynamic deformation in the magazine and at the moment of firing, keeping the meplat and the bullet's ballistic coefficient consistent from round to round. The tip seats into a lead core wrapped in Hornady's AMP jacket. The completed projectile carries a remarkably high G1 ballistic coefficient of .697 and a G7 BC of .351, backed by a sectional density of .301.
Built for serious target and match shooting, this bullet is rated for a 2000-3200 fps velocity range, which puts it right in the heart of typical 6.5mm precision rifle loads. The bullet is copper-coated and built without a cannelure so reloaders can seat it precisely to the desired overall cartridge length without disturbing the ogive or the seating depth across a batch.
This box contains 100 ELD Match bullets, packed in Hornady's standard 100-count reloading box. These are new production, never loaded, and ready for the reloading bench. The same bullet is also packed 15 boxes per case (1,500 bullets) for high-volume reloaders.
