The Hornady ELD Match bullet is a 6.5mm (.264") match-grade projectile built around Hornady's proprietary Heat Shield polymer tip technology, engineered to resist aerodynamic heating and hold its precise meplat shape from muzzle to target.

At 123 gr, the ELD Match features a copper-coated AMP jacket over a lead core in a spitzer boat-tail profile with no cannelure. The result is an extremely low-drag match bullet with a ballistic coefficient of .506 and a sectional density of .252 for an undisturbed, concentric bearing surface from tip to base.

The Heat Shield tip resists deformation from the heat of firing and the rigors of magazine feed, letting this bullet hold a consistent BC across its recommended velocity range of 1600 to 3300 fps. Hornady's recommended twist rate for this 6.5mm 123 gr ELD Match is 1:9".
