The Hornady ELD Match (Extremely Low Drag - Match) bullet is a technologically advanced, enhanced-accuracy target projectile designed for serious precision shooters. Sized for 6.5mm (.264") cartridges and weighing 100 grains, this projectile is built around Hornady's signature Heat Shield polymer tip, which resists the aerodynamic heating that can degrade softer tips in flight, preserving the bullet's precise meplat for consistently tight groups at long range.

The ELD Match features an optimum secant ogive profile and a boattail base, combined with an AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket for exceptional concentricity and uniformity. The result is a high ballistic coefficient bullet with a published BC of .385 and a sectional density of .205, recommended for use in barrels with a 1:9" twist rate or faster.
