The Hornady ELD Match 30 Caliber .308" 225 grain bullet is Hornady's flagship precision match-grade reloading projectile, built around their proprietary Heat Shield polymer tip. The Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic heating at extended ranges, keeping the meplat perfectly round shot after shot for consistently accurate flight from muzzle to target. This is a technologically advanced, enhanced-accuracy target bullet designed for serious long-range precision shooting.

The ELD Match uses a streamlined secant ogive profile paired with an optimum boat tail base to minimize drag and maximize retained velocity downrange. A lead core is wrapped in a copper jacket finished with Hornady's proprietary AMP jacket treatment, which produces a smoother, more uniform surface that contributes to repeatable accuracy. With a ballistic coefficient of .777 (G1) and a sectional density of .339, this 225-grain bullet is rated for velocities between 2200 and 3400 fps and is recommended for use in barrels with a 1:10" twist rate.

Each box contains 100 bullets, packed as 15 boxes per case (1,500 bullets per case). These are unprimed bulk projectiles intended for handloading - the reloader supplies the brass cases, primers, powder, and seating dies. They feature no cannelure and are designed as match projectiles for any 30-caliber cartridge that fires a .308" diameter bullet.
