This .22 caliber bullet features a .224 diameter and a 52 grain weight, built around a precision swaged lead core encapsulated in a concentric AMP copper jacket.

At the heart of the design is Hornady's signature Heat Shield polymer tip, constructed from a heat-resistant material that holds its shape in the aerodynamic heating zone at high velocities. Combined with an optimum secant ogive profile and a boat tail base, the ELD Match delivers an impressive G1 ballistic coefficient of .247 and a sectional density of .148. The streamlined geometry minimizes drag and retains velocity exceptionally well at long range, while the no-cannelure design preserves jacket integrity for top-tier accuracy.
