The Hornady CX is a monolithic copper alloy hunting bullet built for hunters who need deep penetration and devastating terminal performance. Machined from a single piece of copper alloy, the CX will not separate on impact and is engineered to retain up to 95% of its bullet weight while driving deep into game.

This 7mm bullet measures .284" in diameter and weighs 160 grains, making it an excellent choice for medium to large North American game when seated in the appropriate case over your preferred propellant. Hornady recommends a 1:8" twist rate for stabilized flight.

A Heat Shield Tip resists deformation from aerodynamic heating during high-velocity flight, preserving the bullet's optimized profile for consistent long-range accuracy. The CX carries a ballistic coefficient of .596 and a sectional density of .286, supporting flat trajectories and strong downrange energy retention.

Because the CX is constructed entirely from solid copper alloy, it is fully lead-free and compliant with lead-restricted hunting areas. Each box contains 50 bullets, ready for seating and loading in your favorite 7mm cartridge.
