Hornady CX 30 Cal .308 190 gr Copper Solid Reloading Bullets - 50/Box

The Hornady CX is a one-piece copper alloy hunting bullet in .308 / 30 Caliber weighing 190 grains. Engineered for devastating terminal performance on big game like elk, moose, and other tough-to-stop animals, the monolithic copper solid cannot separate at the jacket-to-core joint like a traditional cup-and-core bullet and delivers an outstanding 95% weight retention along with controlled, deep penetration. This is a brand new current-production reloader's component from Hornady.

At the nose, Hornady's signature Heat Shield tip resists heat deformation during travel down the bore, while optimum groove geometry along the bearing surface reduces fouling and helps maintain consistent velocity across temperature extremes. The bullet measures 0.308" in diameter, runs a G1 ballistic coefficient of .575 (G7 .289), and carries a sectional density of .286. Hornady recommends a minimum 1:10" twist rate for proper stabilization.

These projectiles are built for handloaders working in the .30 caliber family of cartridges. Published load data covers the 300 PRC (suggested COL 3.610"), 300 Winchester Magnum, 300 WBY Magnum, and .308 Winchester.
