The Hornady Custom Grade Series I 2-Die Set is a full-length reloading die set purpose-built for the 7.62x39mm cartridge. Built on Hornady's Custom Grade New Dimension platform, this two-die set is crafted to provide a lifetime of reliable reloading and is guaranteed never to break or wear out from normal use.

The set includes a full-length sizing die and a seating die with integrated expander assembly. The sizer features Hornady's signature Zip Spindle Design, which allows quick, tool-free length adjustments - simply pull the spindle out and twist to lock the setting in place. The seater is equipped with a floating bullet alignment sleeve, a floating steel seating stem, and a built-in crimper for consistent bullet alignment and precise seating depth round after round.

This Series I rifle die set is the standard workhorse setup for handloaders running 7.62x39mm through AK-pattern rifles and bolt-action platforms alike. A shellholder is sold separately.
