The Hornady Critical Defense Triple Defense load in 410 Gauge delivers a one-of-a-kind payload from a standard 2-1/2 inch shotshell. Each shell stacks three projectiles on top of one another: two lead 35 caliber round balls topped with a single non-jacketed 41 caliber FTX slug featuring Hornady's patented Flex Tip technology. The Flex Tip helps the hollow-point slug feed reliably in .410 handguns while still expanding on impact.

Launched at 750 fps from the muzzle, the Triple Defense column is engineered to hit man-sized targets even from short indoor distances, making it a smart choice for home-defense shotguns, .410 revolvers, and other .410 firearms.

Each shell is housed in a plastic hull. Hornady loads 20 rounds per box, with 10 boxes (200 rounds) per case for stocking a home-defense shotgun or training with the same load you plan to rely on.
