The Hoppes 1308AP is a purpose-built phosphor bronze bore brush sized for .40 S&W and 10mm Auto pistols. Its stiff bronze bristles are arranged for multi-directional scrubbing action, cutting through stubborn lead, carbon, and powder fouling in handgun bores without bending or breaking.

The 1308AP threads onto any standard cleaning rod fitted with the universal #8-32 thread pattern used on handgun rods and is pushed through the bore from the chamber end.
