The Hogue Deka manual folding knife is a compact everyday-carry folder designed by knife maker Allen Elishewitz and built around Hogue's signature ABLE Lock mechanism. This variant (MPN 24277) pairs a 3.25" clip point blade with ambidextrous thumb studs and a lightweight, textured G-Mascus FDE G-10 handle scale set, finished with a Black Cerakote blade coating for a clean, tactical look.
At the heart of the Deka is a CPM-20CV stainless steel blade - a powder-metallurgy tool steel prized for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade is ground to a clip point profile with a concave top edge for precise work, and rides on dual ambidextrous thumb studs for easy one-handed opening. It locks open via the ABLE Lock, a robust mechanism engineered by Allen Elishewitz that delivers confident lockup and smooth, repeatable deployment.
The handle is built on G-10 fiberglass laminate scales featuring Hogue's G-Mascus textured pattern in Flat Dark Earth (FDE), providing a secure, slip-resistant grip in wet or dry conditions. The folder measures 4.25" closed and carries at a remarkably light 2.3 oz for all-day pocket carry. A deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife tucked and accessible, and the overall length is 7.5" when deployed.
Proudly made in the USA, the Hogue Deka combines premium materials, thoughtful ergonomics, and a proven locking system in a slim, lightweight package well suited for everyday carry, outdoor tasks, and general utility cutting.
